Not the Messiah (He’s a Very Naughty Boy)

The Caramoor International Music Festival includes the United States premiere of Not the Messiah (He’s a Very Naughty Boy), a comic oratorio by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, the sardonic duo that unleashed Spamalot on the world.

Not the Messiah (He’s a Very Naughty Boy) is inspired by Monty Python’s Life of Brian. It features Eric Idle as both soloist and narrator. Peter Oundjian, Caramoor’s Artistic Advisor and Principal Conductor, leads the Orchestra of St. Luke’s with The Collegiate Chorale and featured soloists.
