Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) goes upstate to honor its Founder & Artistic Director Mikhail Baryshnikov's 75th birthday. Mikhail Baryshnikov at 75 will be a day of performances and celebrations produced by BAC to take place at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park (Tivoli, NY) on Sunday, June 25, 2023. 

Co-presented by Baryshnikov Arts Center and Kaatsbaan Cultural Park, the event will feature an afternoon concert on Kaatsbaan’s idyllic 153-acre property by some of the definitive voices in music. The lineup will include influential musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries whose work has inspired Mr. Baryshnikov throughout his life in the U.S.: American avant-garde artist, composer, and musician Laurie Anderson, Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall, Russian–born American singer, songwriter, and pianist Regina Spektor, and North America's leading practitioner of Japanese shinobue and taiko drummer Kaoru Watanabe. The program will also feature a musical performance by choreographer Mark Morris and a special appearance by actress Anna Baryshnikov. 

The performance will take place at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park in the Hudson Valley: 120 Broadway Tivoli, NY 12583.

The Kaatsbaan gates will open at 11AM. The outdoor concert will start promptly at 2PM.

Free parking will be available on the Kaatsbaan premises beginning at 11AM. The parking area is located approximately 0.5 miles from the performance area.

If you are in need of assistance accessing the performance area, accommodations will be provided. 

This performance will take place outdoors.

No seating will be provided—please bring your own lawn chair and/or picnic blanket.

This performance will take place rain or shine—in the event of serious inclement weather, in the unlikely event that conditions are deemed unsafe, you will be notified by email on the day of the performance about the weather plan.

Are guests permitted to bring picnic foods, beverages, wine, etc.?

-Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink.

The Kaatsbaan Cultural Park gates and parking open at 11AM. When are guests able to enter the performance space? 

-Guests will be welcomed into the performance space one hour prior to the start of the concert, at approximately 1PM.
