Under the Bridge

In Paris, Christmas 1953, Madame Calcet, a recent widow, and her 3 children are forced into homelessness by their inability to pay their rent. To keep the family together, especially during the holidays, Madame Calcet chooses to live on the streets of Paris. She settles in the makeshift home of Armand, a wily old hobo who has chosen the carefree life as opposed to one of responsibility. At first contentious, Armand allows the children into his heart and strives to assist them in getting their one Christmas wish – a home.
