A Thurber Carnival

Lantern Theatre presents A Thurber Carnival, an entertaining evening of sketches with music based on James Thurbers’ comic writings. The play includes some of Thurber’ best loved pieces – Mr. Preble Gets Rid of His Wife, Unicorn in the Garden, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Macbeth Murder Mystery — a whole different way of looking at the Scottish play and the unforgettable File and Forget in which Thurber recounts his famous correspondence with various publishers who ship him books which he never ordered. A multi-talented cast creates a multitude of characters. Kathy Becker directs.
