About This Show

Amanda Grove is a self-described former solo performance artist, writer, and actress. She conceived of Interia30 as the eve of her 30th birthday approached, and she realized that since moving to New York three years ago, she hadn’t fulfilled her goals of creating and presenting solo performance art projects. In addition, Ms. Grove has also been greatly inspired by the local community and artistic activities that she has experienced since living in Williamsburg. In response to these factors, Intertia30 was born out of her desire to make a call for artistic action while locating the project at a community level.

The launch begins with the performance Shopping for Something on August 6th at 2:00pm in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at Bedford Avenue and will move through out the neighborhood ending at McCarren Park. This event is free and open to the public.
