After almost four years living abroad (no, not as a broad) and touring the world, downtown sensation Sherry Vine has returned to dazzle New York audiences with her captivating cabaret show The Way of Love. Using a collection of classic tunes mixed modern pop hits to move the story forward, this one “woman” show incorporates Sherry’s classic command of comedy, a dash of tragedy and some killer tunes. The story follows Sherry through the ups and down of her love affair with a “yet to be disclosed member of the Royal Family.” (Shhh, don’t tell but, it’s Prince William.) With a roster filled with hits such as “Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries,” Dusty Springfield’s “Close My Eyes,” Stephen Sondheim’s “I’m Still Here,” and Pink’s “Just Like a Pill,” The Way of Love is packed with elements that are quintessential Sherry Vine!
