About This Show

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre is a professional theatre company dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit with a focus on creating theatre from its essence: the text and the actor’s ability to bring it to life.

Now through September 30th, become a season subscriber and get all FIVE productions in TACT’s 2002/03 season at the reduced rate of $75. Plus, you’ll enjoy preferred seating in TACT’s new performance location, the Florence Gould Hall.

TACT specializes in rediscovering great plays and bringing them back to public consciousness. Plays such as The Torch-Bearers, Time and the Conways, and Mornings at Seven. All productions are presented in “Concert Performance” style. These fully rehearsed minimally staged presentations allow the audience to be a part of the creative event.

Each production features a company of well-known professional actors and original incidental musical scores, which are commissioned through TACT’s partnership with the Manhattan School Of Music.
