Studio Sessions

Studio 42’s Studio Sessions is an ongoing series that showcases up-and-coming artists of various mediums. August’s (jam)Sessions highlights three of New York’s hottest new musical talents – The Hazzards, New York’s baddest two girl ukulele group with a full band (known for their hit “Gay Boyfriend”), Mera, whose new brand of reincarnated street soul is sure to get everyone’s groove on, and The Debutantes, famous for their post-Blondie poppy punk. Keeping the tunes flowing throughout the night is DJ Zach Layton (kassette and recordcamp).

Studio 42 is a four-year-old production company dedicating to supporting emerging artists and creating new work. Studio Sessions was initiated in 2001 and will continue to present evenings of new music, film, comedy, and fine art throughout the 2004-2005 season.
