Steve Rosen

Broadway Spotlight brings bright new stars of the Great White Way to the intimate theater at Ars Nova. Steve Rosen currently plays Sir Bedevere, Dennis Galahad’s Mother, and Concorde in Monty Python’s Spamalot. For 2 1/2 years, he was making his living as an audition reader; reading with the actors auditioning for roles in Broadway shows. Early in 2004, casting agent Tara Rubin asked Steve if he would be interested in reading with those auditioning for Spamalot. He said yes and was eventually offered an audition and then the chance to originate a role on Broadway.
