Shakespeare Uncorked

American Globe Theatre, Midtown’s longest running off-off Broadway theatre, presents Shakespeare Uncorked, an evening of champagne and Shakespeare, to benefit American Globe Theatre. Producing Artistic Director, John Basil, demystifies the gutsy, bawdy world of William Shakespeare. Long considered one of New York’s master teachers on the Bard, Mr. Basil will illuminate clues in Shakespeare’s text in a lively and participatory way that will offer workshop-goers an evening of fun and humor, dispelling a rumor that Will is bad and boring.
