Romeo’s Whiskey

Romeo's Whiskey is an interactive performance experience with the intention of fusing the intimacy of memoir with the vulnerability of performance poetry. In order to achieve this goal, performance poet and author of the book Romeo's Whiskey, Rashad Wright and his band ChillBrown will guide the audience on this journey. The performance is the narrators attempt to revisit, deconstruct, and recreate his personal experience as a soldier, working class man of color, and survivor of gun violence.
