The mission of the Pearl Theatre Company is to set an American standard for the production of classic theatre. The Pearl seeks and develops actors with the technical abilities and the artistic inclination to create a character rather than to recreate a type, and to approach each play on the playwright’s terms. To this end, it maintains a core company of fourteen actors ranging in age from 27 to 82 years of age who work together season after season, continuing to expand and deepen their craft.
