About This Show

Dixon Place presents Victoria Roberts in The Nibbler. New Yorker cartoonist Roberts first drew Nona Appleby (nee Molesworth) in her teens. Born in NYC, Roberts has worked most of her life as a cartoonist, first in Australia after spending her childhood in Mexico City. Nona made her stage debut in ’05; her first show premiered at the Nat’l Museum for Women in the Arts, Washington DC; then at NYC’s Urban Stages & at The Duplex in Nona Sings Steve and I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts.

“Looking a bit like Dame Edna’s daintier sister, the New Yorker cartoonist Victoria Roberts’s Nona is a compelling, oddly credible character.”
