Vermilion Wine

It is New York, 1948, and private eye Ian Sinclair is still nursing a broken heart. Six years ago he met and fell in love with Rebecca, a woman with multiple personality disorder who ended up putting a knife in his ribs. Now he has been hired by the enigmatic millionairess Mrs. Maureen Monroe to find her missing husband. But nothing and no-one is who they appear to be, and before long Sinclair will be swept up in a nightmare of betrayal, madness and murder.

Inspired by such classic film noirs as The Maltese Falcon and Out of the Past, Vermilion Wine is at once murder mystery and tragic love story.
