Verbatim

Directed by Darcy Marta and starring New Zealand actress Giarna Te Kanawa, Verbatim is a solo play examining violent crime. The play by William Brandt and Miranda Harcourt comes directly from interviews with convicted murderers and those connected to them by blood and tragedy. Aaron Daly’s mother, his sister, his girlfriend, his victim, and her husband tell their stories as Aaron struggles to remember the events leading to the murder for which he is now serving a life sentence.
