About the Show
Viola and Sebastian have been separated by a shipwreck. Arriving in a foreign land and believing the other is dead, both set out on a journey through a series of comedic misadventures, cross-dressing and inexplicable feelings of love and loss.
Essential Theatre Group has taken the classic Shakespearian comedy of mistaken identities and gender-confused courtships and filled it with all new music composed by Conly Basham, in a new version conceived and directed by Tony Lance.
