Twelfth Night (Marionette Theatre)

About the Show

Shakespeare’s timeless tale of mistaken identity and misplaced matrimony, Twelfth Night, is brought to life under the direction of Vit Horejs and the Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre. Adapted from William Shakespeare’s tale of twins separated during a ship wreck; the lovelorn Count Orsino; and the bumbling Toby Belch and his compadres, Vit Horejs and his master marionetteers bring to audiences of all ages a “tea-tray production.” This exciting art form brings three live puppeteers and 22 8-inch authentic Czech-made marionettes cavorting in the sand and bathing in champagne at the palace of the duke of Illyrium amid waterfalls of wooing words written by William Shakespeare.

Not recommended for children under 6.
