A mile from the front lines of the Spanish Civil War, three New Yorkers indulge in their final night of drunken revelry, before they have to kill, and possibly die for their ideals. By morning they will know just how much they are willing to sacrifice to forge their utopia. It is a story from high water mark of American Liberalism, just before the wave crashed and drowned future generations in cynicism.
