About the Show

Three sisters living outside Moscow struggle to find love and fulfillment with the local soldiers after their father’s death. Staged abstractly by Nancy Gabor, this production focuses on performing the immediate emotional truth of the story and characters, rather than a realistic retelling. This translation of Chekhov’s Three Sisters is by Jean Claude Van Itallie.
