Filmmaker, performance artist and writer Miranda July returns to The Kitchen to present her new piece THINGS WE DON’T UNDERSTAND AND ARE DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT, a tale of heartbreak and obsession that is so familiar you could tell it yourself. In fact, members of the audience play lead and supporting roles in the performance.

This work is also a look inside July’s filmmaking process; her next feature film revolves around the same themes and characters as THINGS WE DON’T UNDERSTAND.
