About This Show

Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale tells the story of Polixenes, King of Bohemia, who visits his boyhood friend Leontes, King of Silicia, for nine months. When Leontes’ wife Hermione asks Polixenes to stay, Leontes becomes convinced that they are having an affair. Complications ensue, including a birth, a death, and an angry bear. Marcus Geduld directs this production for the Stomping Ground Theatre Company.
