About the Show

“People get deader and deader each day they live.” So says one of the characters after a few belts of gin in Beth Henley’s The Wake of Jamey Foster. After Jamey Foster’s untimely demise, his extended (and somewhat dysfunctional) family convenes to mourn his passing–a gathering that reveals broken dreams, wasted lives, exploding pigs, and the resiliency of the human spirit in this revival of the 1982 black comedy.
