The Two Noble Kinsmen

Palamon and Arcite, beloved cousins and distinguished Knights of Thebes are taken prisoner of war by Theseus, the Duke of Athens. Dwindling in spirit and in health while detained, the kinsmen are instantly revived at the sight of the Duke’s incandescent sister-in-law, Emilia, as well as catapulted into a mortal rivalry for her love. Cornered by the law and Theseus’ rigid command, the two companions are forced to enter a duel in which their love for each other and Emilia is put to the test. Despite the intentions and actions of all, the Gods will ultimately have final say as to the fate of these friends.
