About This Show

The Oberon Theatre Ensemble presents a new twist on William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Concieved and directed by Emily Tetzlaff, this story is set in a child’s bedroom where the imagination of a young girl is filled with books and mystical, magical stories. As she plays with a toy ship in the bath before bed, she lifts and dunks the boat making the sounds of a storm and shouting out the voices of the ship’s doomed sailors. Summoning them in her thoughts, the characters appear and live out their parts making the story come magically to life.
There will be a 8pm performance on Wednesday, May 17th.
