The Shadow Box

Set during 1977, The Shadow Box tells the story of three terminal patients who dwell in separate cottages on the grounds of a large hopital in California. As the patients are attended to and visited by family and close friends, the play dramatizes their anxieties and their coming to grips with the finality of their condition. A Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, The Shadow Box is a moving drama that also offers some humorous moments.
