The Sanctuary

Set in a battered women’s shelter, The Sanctuary is comedic drama about women who prevail over being battered by the men they love, while holding on to tattered dreams.

The story centers around a group of women who come from different socio-economic backgrounds to a place where they are learning to repair their lives in a safe environment. All of these women have problems and secrets they’d rather not face. However, and when a mentally ill person with a multiple personality is put into the mix, the depth of their pain, deeply hidden, overflows as each breaks down, bringing out the dark side in all of them.
