Nada presents this summer festival of rarely seen high camp works by seminal writers as well as new works by emerging playwrights. The festival will take place at all three Nada spaces: Nada Classic (167 Ludlow), Nada Piano Store (159 Ludlow) and Nada ShowWorld (675 Eighth Avenue), and features:
-Charles Busch’s Pardon My Inquisition, directed by Aaron Beall
-Busch’s Theodora, She-Bitch of Byzantium, directed by Kelly Nolan
-Charles Ludlam’s Der Ring Fardlonjet, directed by Tim Cusack
-Ludlam’s Stage Blood, directed by Michael Goldfried
-Ethyl Eichelberger’s Clytemnestra
-Eichelberger’s Saint Joan, directed by Edward Einhorn
-an evening of two new camp plays by Todd Miller, Das Presley and Mose the Fireman
-an evening of two one acts by Ronald Tavel, Shower and The Life of Juanita, directed by Ian Hill
-Housewives, a new play juxtaposing Ibsen’s A Doll’s House with The Stepford Wives
Normal Love, a theatrical version of the film by Jack Smith.
