The Playboy Stories: Forty-Five Years of Fiction in the Flesh

Playboy Magazine and the Playboy Foundation in cooperation with Lightning Strikes Theatre Company presents The Playboy Stories: Forty-Five Years of Fiction in the Flesh. Each adaptation will be a unique performance showcasing a diversity of writers, past and present. Each production will be an original production not previously produced or publicly performed. The planned productions include:
A Flourish of Strumpets (1956)- by Richard Matheson, adapted by Mike Bencivenga
A Fine Son (1959) – by Roald Dahl, adapted by Richard Harland Smith
Modern Love (1988) – by T. Coraghessan Boyle, adapted by Celia Montgomery
How it Ended (1993) – by Jay McInerney, adapted by Robert Lyons
