The Overdevelopment of Scott is a new sci-fi musical with book, music, lyrics, and choreography by Sharon J. Fogarty. Seven genetically engineered subjects find love, hate, and purpose within the confines of a test laboratory run by a pair of mis-matched lovers. Virginia, bred for tobacco studies, Esther bred for sexual addiction, Tito for violence, Freddie, raised by comedy, Gracious, bred for eating disorders, Rita, for the study of cosmetic testing, and Tammy, bred to be a good listener, develop under the tutelage of Scott, an inconspicuous lab assistant determined to help free the subjects into a better existence. Andrew Frank directs.
