The Madman

Ron Fitzgerald’s The Madman is adapted from Anton Chekhov’s story The Diary of Violent Madman. It is a comic tale of a stalled dissertation, unrequited love, and a total eclipse of the sun. Peter Campbell directs this kinetic retelling as part of the Chekhov NOW Festival.
