The Looking Glass Forum is a festival of new works by upcoming playwrights and directors. This year’s festival features the work of four emerging female directors tackling a variety of new works:
Changing Faces
Two women break on through to the other side – wherever that is – and proceed to search for the meaning of existence. Multiple roles are played by a two-woman cast in this comedy of identity.
The Mail Play
In the tradition of Samuel Beckett, Melanie Wehrmacher’s absurdist drama examines the repercussions of a mysterious letter on the lives of three postal workers.
Crash Bound
What are the chances of find love…again? Statistically, how probable is it that a woman will become a successful actress when she is too afraid to audition? When a world of logic meets a world of insanity…they may collide.
The Present
Set in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, The Present explores how tragedies tear families apart and bring strangers together.
