New York City
Six characters woven into the fabric of changed modern day New York City face personal demons in the Hope House Theater’s production of The Here and Now, written by Gregor Drozdek and directed by Sasha Schulman. Drozdek has built upon three types of New Yorkers found in E.B. White’s essay “Here is New York” (the exiled bohemian, the provincial native, and the money driven commuter) to follow six strangers trying to connect in the “here and now.”
All proceeds benefit the Stanton Street Settlement afterschool program.
