The Dilemma of Drugs

Based on the 1971 drug education filmstrip series of the same name, The Dilemma of Drugs explores the dank, squalid world of drug use… complete with slide show and folk songs! This audio-visual enrichment for all grade levels is presented by Craig Baldwin and director Erik Sniedze. The show is broken down into six short episodes with titles including “Why Hallucinogens?,” “Pot, Pills & Parents,” and “Drugs: The Question and the Choice.”

After extensive research into the dark and seedy underworld of drug use and addiction, a wily ensemble of highly-trained actors embarked on an
exhaustive tour of Eastern seaboard middle schools, spreading their
knowledge and experience amongst the children. Now, this multi-talented and
socially responsible young troupe has returned to educate city dwellers with
an unforgettable presentation that is both harrowing and powerful. This
cautionary tale is The Dilemma of Drugs.
