The Callback/Leaving Tampa

About the Show

Robert C. Boston Jr.’s The Callback is a chilling piece about an actress encountering a mysterious stranger at a final audition in a possibly haunted theater. The production, directed by Ellen Sandberg, features the music of Gothic artists Midnight Syndicate.

Following the funeral of Roy’s dad, the dialogue with Roy’s boyfriend overlaps with that of Roy and the ghost sitting across from them, whom only Roy can see. And you thought you had communication problems. Leaving Tampa is by Edward Crosby Wells, and directed by Frank Calo.

Both shows are part of 2001: A Spotlight on Festival Odyssey.
