The Bottom Project

Julie Tolentino directs this provocative voyage at the “bottom” of the human psyche, probing physical and emotional boundaries, real or imagined. The Bottom Project combines movement, endurance, and visual art to play with the different meanings of the word “bottom.” A cast of local artists and video imagery by Catherine Gund and EXUM fill out this series of dramatic vignettes and startling visual landscapes which illuminate the secrets of modern desire and its alliance with memory, loss, and identity.
