What happens when a society’s unseen but omnipresent authorities are responsible for carrying out racial cleansing in all aspects of society – racially, physically and verbally? What happens to the inhabitants of that world? Can the odd one out find a way of fitting in?
Cherry Wood Plaque Players presents The Authorities, a play set in a futuristic society where the use of words carry consequences and family relationships are not what they seem. The original script is by Andrew Rosendorf and directed by Laurie Wolf and Jennifer Pratt. Part of the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival.
