New York City
Written and performed by Mark Rizzo, Terror and Pity is a dark comedy about growing up strange in Scranton, PA. Some of its concerns include: puppies, morbid obsessions, summer vacation, low-grade agoraphobia, bumper pool, the fear of carnivals, an obscure Burt Reynolds-Dom Deluise collaboration, swimming lessons, the vocal stylings of Jerry Lewis, hypochondria, the mysterious allure of Air Supply, Scranton, PA and the land of Hatchy Milatchy. Terror and Pity arrives fresh from a sold-out engagement at the Hudson Guild Theatre on Hollywood’s Theatre Row.
Part of Double Helix Theatre Company’s One Festival.
