About This Show

Robert Ierardi (GI in Can Can, Play in a Pub 2005; Cocteau Rep resident actor 1987-92) has written and performed a wonderful one-man show about the things you’re told and believe as a child when you grow up in Plainville, CT. This is a charming and authentic tale in the spirit of Garrison Keillor.

“Ierardi is a terrific storyteller … This is a riveting, sad and hilarious tale of suburban, blue-collar life in the ’60s, a world of Rambler station wagons, peanut butter-and-marshmallow fluff sandwiches and parents who remembered the Depression keenly .” – The Lakeville Journal
