About the Show

Summit Conference brings Hitler’s and Mussolini’s mistresses together for tea in an exploration of unchecked power, anti-Semitism, and gender roles. Eva Braun and Clara Petacchi talk first of music and fashion, but soon slide into a dangerous game in which each assumes her absent lover’s authority, prejudices, and arrogance. And a German soldier, at first their guard, becomes their plaything after he is revealed to be Jewish. Directed by Kit Thacker.

This New York premiere of Robert David MacDonald’s play is presented by Thirteenth Night Theatre Co.
