Someone’s Comin’ Hungry

Third Ad Artists Group, a new company, will present a revival of Neil R. Selden’s 1969 drama, SOMEONE’S COMIN’ HUNGRY. This is the story of a highly decorated black Vietnam war veteran (Paul), his pregnant, Jewish, white wife (Connie), and a strong-willed black dancer (Tamara). Set in the highly volatile New York City of 1968, this production brings back old feelings of racial tensions from the Summer of Love, reminding us both how far race relations have come and how far they still have to go.-dlm
