From the Great Griffon comes Seeking the Queer Voice, a monthly reading series. The Great Griffon is a nonprofit company dedicated to creating new media, film, and theater that breaks gender and LGBTQ stereotypes. Inaugurating its reading series is a performance of Doug DeVita's The Phillie Trilogy, winner of the 2016 Scrap Mettle Arts Inaugural Playwrights Program Competition. The play follows Philip McDougal through three interconnecting stories about the discovery of his sexuality. James Phillip Gates directs.
