Scotty the Blue Bunny hosts an evening of queer character talent culled from NYC’s booming burlesque scene. Often overlooked by the striptease-obsessed media, these performers occupy an integral part of any variety show, historically referred to as “filler” acts. Bawdy magicians, crooners, acrobats, jugglers, and comedians are just as prevalent as they ever were, and for the seemingly straight enterprise of “girly shows”, a majority of these artists are gay.
