“My husband’s in love with a dead girl”…

Rosa Raine is a ghost story about a married man haunted by the memory of a brief affair twenty years in the past. The memories are fraught with tragic secrets that tear his marriage apart and ask profound questions about life, love, infidelity and forgiveness. The play offers a remarkable collaboration between the writer, director, and cast.

James Crafford was a guest member of the Actor’s Studio Playwrighting Unit under Elia Kazan and Harold Clurman; his last play Chepachet was adapted into a film and won the Best Drama Award at the New York International Independent Film Festival 2007 and won the Best Drama (Silver Medal) at THE INDIE GATHERING in Cleveland 2008. James Crafford won the Jean Dalrymple Award for Best Playwright 2003-2004 at ATA.
