About This Show

Only one of his songs (“You Made Me Love You”) may be generally remembered today, but for more than 30 years, during the early part of the 20th century, composer James V. Monaco (a.k.a. “Ragtime Jimmie”) was one of the shining stars in music. Now audiences have the chance to rediscover this talent in the cabaret revue Ragtime Jimmie: The Music of James V. Monaco, to be performed at Don’t Tell Mama. The show is presented by Wenhelm Productions as part of their American Composer Series. Directed and staged by Earl Wentz.
