visual transformations and fierce new music, Queendom tells of the inspiring journey of BeBe Zahara Benet:
from her origins in Cameroon to the high fashion world of Paris, through her experiences on RuPaul’s Drag
Race and finally as a popular drag performing artist in New York City. Combining both the African customs of
BeBe’s upbringing, and the ritualistic traditions of drag performance, Queendom weaves a spiritual story of the
search for oneself.

Queendom features 11 original songs written and performed by BeBe Zahara Benet, and features singers
La’Nette Searcy and Shirley Severe, dancers Eddie Carrington and Roger Turner, and drummer Kevin George
