Cannon Co. presents the New York premiere of its latest production Puss. Richard Kimmel directs and adapts this metatheatrical farce on the classic fairy-tale Puss-in-Boots by Ludwig Tieck. The story consists of a frenzied series of events, which blur the line between illusion and reality. Cannon’s modern adaptation maintains the play’s subversive spirit, melding extensive dance sequences, a string trio and digital video to celebrate and satirize current theatrical styles and trends.
