Ralph Lee designs and directs The Mettawee River Theatre Company’s adaptation of this 17th century theatrical entertainment by Moliere and Corneille. Psyche uses masked actors, puppets, live music, and dance to recount the myth of the young princess whose beauty incurs the jealousy of the goddess Venus. This tale of beauty, power, envy, and the triumph of love is presented as part of the Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater.
There will be a post-performance discussion following the Friday show.
