About This Show

A man wakes up one morning and decides he must kill himself. He is angry with himself for not hitting his wife every time she had an independent thought, as Abraham and Moses would have done. His wife is killed in an accident. God reveals to the man that he is the new Prophet. The man is sick of educated white women so he goes to the ghetto to find an illiterate Negress to marry. He steals her away from her drug dealing boyfriend Tyrone and takes her to his suburban mansion where he makes her dress in tattered slave clothing and chains and begins to preach his new-found gospel of male domination. Prophet is written by Thomas Bradshaw.
