About This Show

Promised Land explores issues of love, recrimination, guilt and
responsibility. E.L. Sullins is a successful real estate developer in the Ozark Mountains, who has lost his sight in an accident years ago. As the economy begins to worsen in the early 1970s, E.L. pursues his dream of an empire while his wife, Robby, struggles to save their marriage. Both are bound and divided by the secret they share.

The Red Earth Ensemble presents the world premiere of this play by by Harvey Huddleston. Tom Dybek directs.
