Planet of the Grapes

An astronaut crew crash-lands on an unfamiliar planet in the distant future and are enslaved by a society where grapes have evolved into speaking creatures with human-like intelligence. Madness ensues.

Pandemic performance pioneer Peter Michael Marino brings his internationally acclaimed, playful parody of the ’68 sci-fi classic, “Planet of the Apes” to the stage following three months of live digital performances.

The award-winning production, directed by Michole Biancosino (“Trump Lear,” “Connected”), takes audiences of all ages on an epic, 60-minute adventure fusing Victorian era Toy Theater with one of the most groundbreaking science fiction films of all time. This live-on-stage multimedia debut features live music by composer Michael Harren, puppetry, SFX, and video projection.
